8.30am-10.30pm Saturday 14 June JOHN EVANS PTSTA-P (NZ) THE WORKSHOP: In "Goldmine and Minefield" - John will explore the fascinating and sensitive area of humour - firstly a general introduction to the psychology of humour - moving into Eric Berne's ideas around humour and how humour has been understood and applied in Transactional Analysis (i.e. not so much). Humour has a great potential to heal and bring us closer, and also a great potential to cause problems in our work and relationships. FIELDS: counselling; organisations; psychotherapy; education BIO: John Evans is a Provisional Teaching & Supervising Transactional Analyst based in Wellington - Aotearoa / New Zealand. John has worked with individuals and groups in the fields of mental health and addiction since 1995 - he currently divides his time between work at the Whakamātūtū Depression Treatment Centre, an independent practice in psychotherapy, and as a trainer at the Wellington Transactional Analysis Institute.
